Terms and Conditions
Customers must use an online booking tool to reserve 1Texas studio space and services based on current availability. Upon selecting the desired date, time, and location, customers will be required to pay a Deposit and sign a service agreement. A confirmation of the reserved service agreement will be sent to the customer.
Customers may also request a quote by scheduling a consultation call.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
If the Customer has engaged 1Texas Studio to provide Services on a specified date, the Customer must notify 1Texas Studio in writing (during normal business hours) that the Customer does not require the Services to be provided on that date (“the cancellation”).
If notification of the cancellation to our staff is provided outside of normal business hours, it is deemed to have been provided at the commencement of the following business day.
If the cancellation is made 72 hours prior to the day on which 1 Texas Studio has been engaged to provide the Services, the Customer forfeits the Deposit.
If Customer wishes to cancel and reschedule Services to a later date, Customer must notify 1Texas Studios at least 24 hours prior to the service date to reschedule the make-up session within 15 days of the originally scheduled time slot (on a Monday through Friday time slot at the original price) and Customer will pay a $75 rescheduling Fee. Prepaid fees will be applied to rescheduled sessions.
1Texas Studio will only reschedule 1 makeup session per booked service. A rescheduling fee is collected to hold the Customer timeslot.
Once both parties have agreed to a contract after the initial consultation, dates will be placed, including the start of the filming/photoshoot process. The terms above will apply to the contract calendar dates.
All payments are final and non-refundable. 50% of the Agreed Price of the project will be payable prior to the commencement of the Services (“the Deposit”) after the first initial consultation and/or after the use of the online booking system. 1Texas will not commence any pre-production activities until the Customer has paid the Deposit.
The remaining balance must be paid within 3 days of the service date of agreement of the contract or before the editing process and/or release of digital assets.
Cash, check, or card is accepted.
Quotes are calculated by the pricing plan chosen and/or extra services agreed to under typical circumstances and are based on the project specifics agreed to by both parties.
Rental gear is available based on a flat fee per item, per session.
If you do not know how to use the gear, you are required to hire an in-house studio assistant at $15 per hour.
You will be billed the assistant fee of $15 per hour, for the entirety of your booking, if our studio concierge assesses that you don’t know how to properly handle our equipment and must step in to assist you.
1TEXAS STUDIO HAS THE DISCRETION TO CHARGE FOR ADD-ONS UTILIZED DURING YOUR SESSION TIME.
ALL ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY BILLED TO THE CARD ON FILE AFTER BOOKING AND YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE.
A fee is charged at the owner's discretion for spills, food, glitter, stains, items left behind, or broken items at a new cost. The fee is final once assessed. A $75 minimum cleaning fee is required for an excessively dirty studio.
Filming amounts to the time that 1Texas Studio utilizes on-site to capture raw footage needed to produce the agreed content for the client. The exact time can vary based on the amount of time it may take to shoot or re-shoot or if 1Texas Studio feels that the film caught is adequate and meets the standard of quality.
Once both parties have agreed to a contract after the initial consultation, dates will be placed including the start of the filming process once the deposit has been fulfilled.

Photoshoots amount to the time that 1Texas Studio utilizes on-site to capture photos needed to produce the agreed content for the client.
The exact time can vary based on the amount of time it may take to shoot or re-shoot or if 1Texas Studio feels that the photos captured are adequate and meets the standard of quality.
Once both parties have agreed to a contract after the initial consultation, dates will be placed including the start of the photoshoot process once the deposit has been fulfilled.

Editing hours happen around the clock, on and off-site. Videography services/photography services require work such as post-production analyzing, color grading, scoring, sound design and restructure, and general editing of digital assets.
Once both parties have agreed to a contract, dates will be placed including the start of the editing process and the release of the digital assets once payment has been fulfilled.
The client is entitled to a first draft and a revised copy of the work if needed. In extreme cases, the client can request more editing but may include an additional fee per day spent.

ARRIVAL AND END TIME FOR SERVICE
All times stated must be strictly adhered to; set up and clean up time must take place during hours outlined in the confirmation agreement, regardless of whether the client and/or the client’s party is late.
The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end time and no later, please consider this when booking your rental.
Overtime will be calculated in increments of 15 minutes beyond the contracted end-time of the service period when the Client is either still using or cleaning up the studio space. Bookings that extend 15 minutes past the scheduled booking end time will be charged at the base rate per 15 minutes.
If you need additional time and a studio available you can purchase additional time (if permitting) at the studio hourly rate before your end time.
No smoking is allowed inside the studio.
Projects involving smoke must have prior consent.
No one will be admitted who is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
The maximum capacity in the studio is 5. Maximum guest allowances will be determined in the Service Agreement.
CUSTOMERS OF MINOR AGE
(UNDER AGE 18 AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION)
If you are under 18, you may use 1Texas Studio only with the permission of a parent or guardian. Parents/Guardians must consent and agree to 1Texas Studio’s Service Agreement and take responsibility for the minor-age participant’s actions.
Furniture can be moved within the space and used for production purposes. The client is free to move things around as needed, but please return everything to its original location.
Some of our larger items like the couch and desk should not be moved without prior request.
Additional props can be provided upon request.
HEALTH + SAFETY
We clean between each session by disinfecting commonly used objects, equipment, and surfaces. We have multiple hand sanitizers in the studio to be used.
